Gucci latest collection was a pleasant colorful and eccentric show.
Creative Director Allessandro Michele chose to have his girls catwalk on vintage Persian rugs, emphasizing the cheerful atmosphere and the oriental vibe, just like Tory Burch did last year with her Moroccan-inspired collection.
The most stunning point of this fashion show is the attractive range of modest attire. From long-sleeves dresses to midi skirts and high necks, most pieces of the collection were pleasingly pudique yet bold in their vivid shapes and shades. Some other might need a tiny bit of opacity to tone the clever games of transparency.
