It’s party time! Fiesta! Saidati celebrated their 5-year existence and of-course this milestone could not just pass by unnoticed. Customers were treated the last few days with a huge sale on caftans, maxi-dresses, tunics and very lovely drinks and bites.
Saidati is a Dutch brand by Rajae el Ktibi showcasing collections inspired by the Moroccan culture mixed with a Western touch. Their huge boutique is based in Amsterdam and can be called a true walhalla for the Caftanista. From hand-made beaded and embroidered double layered caftans to more sophisticated and simple designs. The boutique meets every desire for the fashionista with a slight appreciation for Moroccan fashion. What do you think for example of a caftan made into a kimono jacket?
The designer Rajae el Ktibi hasn’t been new in the fashion industry. After getting a degree at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie Amsterdam and the Vogue Akademie, she continued working for several fashion brands. As the passion for Moroccan fashion kept growing, she launched her brand ‘Saidati’ in 2015 debuting a collection in collaboration with Ronald Kolk. Now five years later, she has grown into an international recognized brand worn by several celebrities like the award-winning actress Maryam Hassouni, Hind Laroussi, Toprak Yalciner and Mounira Hadj Mansour.
