Swiss Watch brand Longines has joined the SAUDI CUP, also known as the world’s richest horse race. The event will take place at King Abdulaziz Racecourse, Riyadh on February 28th and 29th, 2020.
Longines, which has long-term ties with the world of international horseracing, will act as Official Partner, Official Watch and Official Timekeeper of this much-awaited equestrian event. Matthieu Baumgartner, Vice President Marketing of Longines said: “We are especially proud to start a new collaboration with the SAUDI CUP. The inaugural two-day SAUDI CUP race meeting takes place at King Abdulaziz Racecourse, Riyadh on Friday February 28 for the Kingdom Day jockeys’ championship and Saturday February 29 2020 for the SAUDI CUP day and will feature 16 races with total prize-money of more than USD$30 million.
